Skills (1 day)
This day is a skills development day aimed at increasing the
skills and confidence of managers in carrying out positive
and productive appraisals which will enhance the performance
and motivation of their staff.
Coaching Skills (2 days)
These two days provide managers with a basic toolkit of skills
for this critical yet often neglected aspect of management.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to coach
their staff effectively in almost any aspect of work.
Feedback Skills (1 day)
This day is an intensive skills development day aimed at ensuring
that managers are able to provide skilful feedback which will
enhance the performance and motivation of their staff.
Managing Marginal performance (1
day)
A day dealing with the challenging issue of how to work with
staff whose level of competence or commitment at work is poor
but not serious enough to warrant (immediate) disciplinary
action.
Performance Management (1 day)
This day provides an overview of the performance management
cycle. It then concentrates on establishing outcomes, setting
goals and defining targets; monitoring performance; and performance
recognition.
