Managing Change and Improvement

Being Clear about Values (1 day)
On of the most common causes of difficulty in change processes, whether personal or organisational, is the failure to be clear about values. Through the use of proven instruments and exercises, this one-day workshop gives participants the opportunity to establish much greater clarity about their own values and the importance of values in effective change management.

Life Planning (1 day)
Whether anticipating a major life change (such as developing a new career or retirement), or simply trying to get a better balance in different aspects of life, successful transition requires a great deal of self-reflection. This workshop is not intended to provide answers but to get participants to ask the right questions and, thus, to help them make decisions in relation to life plans in different areas or the balance between different areas.

Managerial Consulting Skills (2 days)
The ability of managers to act as internal consultants to their own and other staff is becoming increasingly important as more work becomes project-based. This two day programme presents managers with consultancy models and then develops both generic consultancy skills and skills in process definition and environmental scanning.

Managing Change (1 day)
Leading a team through a period of change is one of the most taxing roles that a manager has to perform. Different types need and expect different kinds of leadership from you. This one-day workshop aims to provide participants who know their psychological type (through having taken the MBTI or a similar instrument) with useful guidance on how to manage this challenge.

Managing People through Change (1 day)
This workshop gives managers the insights they need to help people deal with change at work and with change in their personal lives which impinge on work. By understanding the stages of change and how people progress through them, participants learn how to understand the behaviour and feelings of the people they manage and how to provide effective support.

Tools and Techniques for Managing Change (1 day)
This workshop provides access to tools and techniques which will enable participants to work out an effective change programme which is developed from their own needs and which addresses the issues facing their organisation.

Tools and Techniques for Process Improvement (2 + 1 days)
This workshop provides an introduction to some of the most useful tools and techniques for process improvement. The first two days focus on learning how to select and apply the appropriate tool or technique. Participants are then encouraged to identify and focus upon improvement in critical processes for their work area. A follow-up day provides support to this practical application.
