- Leadership Development Self-Assessment Centre Workshop for
First Line Managers (1 day)
This programme provides team leaders and supervisory managers
with clarity about the role of leadership in their work and
their own leadership skills development needs. Participants
also receive feedback in relation to their personality type
as revealed through the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the
implications of this for their practice and development as
leaders.
Managers into Leaders - Leadership
Development Self-Assessment Centre Workshop for Senior and
Middle Managers (2 or 3 days)
This programme provides participants with feedback upon which
they are able to assess their leadership development needs.
(It is particularly useful when combined with a management
development needs analysis and such a follow-up service can
be provided if desired).
The programme has two strands:
a) an understanding of and
detailed individual feedback from the two most widely used
professional development instruments: the Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator (which looks at overall personality type) and the
FIRO-B (which looks at behaviour);
b) a series of exercises, based
upon John Adair's concept of action centred leadership, which
enable participants to get feedback on their practical application
of leadership skills.
The three day programme incorporates one day of outdoor exercises
enabling richer feedback. (These exercises do NOT involve
physically challenging activities).
Leadership Skills (1 day)
There is no magic to effective leadership – only skills,
which can be developed by anyone. This one-day programme helps
participants explore ideas about leadership and identifies
what the most successful leaders do that makes them so successful.
The day is for anyone who needs leadership skills at work,
from senior managers to team leaders.
NLP and Leadership (1 or 2 days)
Most "blue chip" companies recognise that Neuro-Linguistic
Programming, the technology for excellence, provides really
powerful and exciting resources to enhance leadership effectiveness.
This workshop, which can be run over one or two days, will
give managers and team leaders access to some of the most
effective leadership techniques and skills around, so that
they can build teams which are more productive, committed
and harmonious.
Working More Effectively with Your
Team (1 day)
This one day programme concentrates on applying the insights
provided by the concept of psychological type to interpersonal
situations enabling you to become a more insightful team leader
and member.
Working Even More Effectively in
Your Team (1 day)
For members of the senior management team this programme provides
an introduction to the richness of the applications of the
theory of psychological type to teamwork and leadership. Participants
receive a twenty-five page computer-generated personal report
on their profile and examine ways in which they can use the
insights provided to make the best use of their collective
strengths.
Note: Participants in this workshop will complete the Myers
Briggs Type Indicator - Step 2 prior to the workshop. To cover
the MBTI materials, scoring, report generation and administration
charges there is an additional charge.
Improving Teamwork (2 days)
An experiential workshop for functioning teams who wish to
explore and develop their collective skills and resources
and develop higher motivation, quality decision making, cooperative
strength and collective commitment.
For maximum benefit it is suggested that this event is run
in a suitable off-site venue.
